There are a number of Sunshine Coast day tours that you can choose to go on if you finally get bored of relaxing at the beach. In this post I’m going to share with you 3 of the most popular day tours out there. They are all very different and all pretty cool.

1. A Fraser Island Day Tour

The largest sand island in the world is a natural wonder. You can choose to go on a day tour or alternatively pick a tour which lasts a number of days. You can also choose to do a self drive tour with a 4 by 4 (the only way to get around the island). The island itself is incredible with an incredibly long white sandy beach which incidentally also doubles up as the main highway on the island. The Champagne pools are amazing and there are also some amazing lakes to have a dip in.

2. Australia Zoo

If you want to see a live show of crocodiles then head to the Australia Zoo. There is an array of wildlife to see and interact with. This is of course the wildlife park of the legendary Steve Irwin.

3. Sunshine Coast Hinterland

A trip inland to the Sunshine Coast hinterland  and you’ll discover over 34,000 hectares of Australian rain forest. You will enjoy this area of unparalleled natural beauty; spectacular scenery, towering forests, mountain cascades, waterfalls and spectacular gorges.
